One of my favourite gifts I’ve ever received is a drawing from Sage and it came about because one day as I was running, I had a bit of a twisted thought come to mind. Would it be possible, with enough helium balloons, to take a small dog out for a flight around the neighbourhood instead of a walk? Though, of course, I would never dream of doing it, the image made me laugh enough that Sage was inspired to hand-draw a beautiful illustration of it that I later photographed. It sits on the wall above my desk and I look at it when I need a smile.  Now I really want to read the children’s book this illustration appears in.
