No time for a long ride last night so I went out for a short one in a park near our neighbourhood. The colour of the leaves is near its peak now and you can really see it when out in the parks. This tree, in particular, was really showing it’s stuff last night!

I’m pretty sure we’re at just about the peak here. From our highrise it looks like most of the trees are in some stage of changing now. So gorgeous!

This time of year it’s nice but overall it’s a mix. On the one hand there are a lot of parking lots and buildings. On the other hand there are lots of tree-filled ravines in between them so it’s really nice. And we can see about 100 km on a good day.

We are just turning though the colors are a little muted from the drought. I always choose one color to focus on. This fall it is bright orange. I love the shot you shared.
