Lakshmi posted this today and I really liked the idea – and her photo as well. Here’s mine:

On the day I took this I went for a ride and deliberately chose streets I’d never been on before to add more kilometres to my wandrer.earth profile. (This site uses Strava to track where you’ve been in the world and then gives you metrics – for example I’ve ridden on 18.3% of the roads in Toronto). On this ride I came across a laneway with art I hadn’t seen before.

The rules are simple:
- Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 30th June.
- No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
- You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
- Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
- Tag “The Last Photo”
I love the street art that you run across. This one is particularly enlivening.
It really spoke to me as well. I haven’t been out of the neighbourhoood. (OK, let’s be honest – I haven’t really been out of the HOUSE) much lately so I haven’t seen much lately. Looking forward to exploring more later in 2022.
What a fun mural – so vibrant! I love encountering street art!
It really is – there were a few of them there – all by the same person. Really lovely!
Did you discover them by chance on one of your rides?
Sorry, Todd – I just reread your post and I see you clearly said you took unchartered roads on your ride ….
A great piece of street art. Thanks for joining in Todd 😀😀
Fascinating art work Todd. Good you got to see and thank you for sharing it.
Todd there is a lot of art work these days in many Indian cities as part of street art projects.
