Over the past several years, my biggest customer has been in Louisiana. This has resulted in my going down there fairly often. In my busiest year, 2016, I spent 120 days in Louisiana – enough time that when we applied for Canadian citizenship last year the government asked for me to get an FBI background check done. I came across this photo on the way to a customer’s office several years ago. I immediately thought of the Shel Silverstein book (and the poem it was named after) “Where the Sidewalk Ends”.
