A few years back, I took my first improv class. The first exercise we did was one that worked on both positivity, feeling comfortable in front of a group and to practice not self-censoring. The exercise was simple: Stand alone in front of the class and say “I love ____, and I love ____” and on and on, filling in the blanks with things.
