Sunday around lunchtime I packed my bike and headed north for a long ride in the country. Along the way I learned a bit more about cycling and some insight into how I engage with life and maybe how I could approach it more effectively.

It looks like more and more of us are making conscious and positive technology choices these days. Here's how my experiences are going.

It took the threat of a software update disabling my Kindle for me to start coming back around to single-function devices and stepping further away from my phone.

We all came to the Internet and social media for something. Most of us seemed to get what we wanted for a while but now many of us are sticking around platforms out of inertia even as they get worse. What am I doing instead?
